Mobiliar Business Communication Standards

The Mobiliar Business Communication Standards (MBCS) manual provides the basis for the standardized presentation of management information within the company. It uses the rules of the International Business Communication Standards (IBCS) Association (www.ibcs.com). The MBCS manual is intended to ensure the uniform design of information products. The rules are designed to lead to a better understanding of reports and thus increase the benefit of the BI application. The MBCS standard is independent of the technology used and can generally be used for all types of reports.

The development of the MBCS manual is based on a structural template from IT-Logix AG. The consultants of IT-Logix AG drew up the requirements for the MBCS in joint workshops and then elaborated suggestions for the specific formulation of the chapters in the template.
